With a master's in AI from the University of Passau, he blends academic prowess with practical expertise gained from Sup'Com, Tunis.
Yasmine Ben Ayed Yasmine Ben Ayed is a Research Engineer at InstaDeep with a background in Mathematical Modelling. She is quite passionate about joining both worlds of biology and Machine Learning. Yasmine worked on protein generation with LLMs. Her recent project involved around the world of Genomics using AgroNT to resolve intricate DNA task.
Computational Geneticist at the Instadeep Paris office, with a background in population genetics and bioinformatics software development, his PhD was in the development of a polyploid phasing tool and its application to populations of polyploid organisms. He's now part of the GenomicsAI team where he uses the Nucleotide Transformer to develop solutions to complex problems in genomics.
Maša, a Senior Computational Geneticist at InstaDeep, transitioned from experimental molecular biology to computational genomics. After earning her PhD in Zagreb, she worked at EMBL-EBI in Cambridge, UK. Since 2023, she's been at InstaDeep, applying large language models to genomics, bridging biology and AI.
An Energy Engineer with over 12 years of experience at the Ministry of Energy, transitioned into software development, particularly Python, through self-learning. In 2022, he founded his consulting firm focusing on energy and digitalization. He's also the CTO and co-founder of Curves and Smile, an AI startup revolutionizing dental treatments.
David Drakard currently leads the RNA and Auto Lab teams. A team dedicated to integrating BioNTech's wet labs with AI to accelerate discoveries. He has a Master's degree in theoretical physics from the University of Durham. He is also a member of the Machine Learning Collective.
